Caspian Palace hotel is located in Caspian Plaza building, which is a large business center with offices of many global companies. Hotel  occupies top 15th and 16th floors and has a good panorama over Baku. Hotel is located near Nizami tube station a bit further from city centre and its main attractions. Other than the business center, there is nothing interesting nearby, so a trip anywhere requires a cab ride. Not very long, and not very expensive to get somewhere. It is a 30 minute walk or 5 AZN/EURO short taxi drive to the "downtown" area by the sea. Though the location is considered to be more or less central, ordinary tourist would need to take tube and travel 2-3 stops to get to Baku's main attractions: the Palace of Shirvanshahs, Maiden Tower, Old City, Fountain Square, Caspian Sea boulevard. Alternatively you can get a taxi and have 10 minutes ride. Those who don't mind walking will need around 30 minutes to get to city centre. Same walking distance is to Heydar Aliyev Sport Complex and Exhibition centre. Caspian Palace hotel could be a good alternative to expensive Hyatt Regency at exhibition periods, when most hotels in the area are fully booked and room rates sky rocket.

Spacious and bright rooms has some panorama over the Baku city. The view out the window is of another building but if you crank your head you can see the Flame Towers and the Caspian sea.  Rooms are tastefully furnished and have comfortable single or/and double beds with fine quality linen. Extra beds could be placed in the rooms. The rooms are large, modern, well equipped, comfortable and clean, with good A/C and good internet.

There is a good restaurant for 75 seats offering European and Azeri cuisine. Breakfast (included) is OK but not substantial - eggs, cheese, juice, tea, bread and a meat. No buffet, one have to tick in a form what he wants, and portions are limited. Hotel caters for special diets i.e. vegetarian, sugar free, dairy free etc... Lunch and dinner are also served in this hotel but they are not included in the room rates. In the lobby you can have a free access to computer connected to Internet.

The staff is very helpful when at the desk. It is a good value busines hotel.
