Tourfair.uz reports that 23rd Tashkent International Tourism Fair "Tourism on the Silk Road" will be held on October 3-5, 2017.                 This event is one of the most anticipated events of the tourism industry of the Central Asian region. Thousands of professionals gather at one place, from Uzbekistan and  all its regions, as well as,  from all over the world.

Icheri Sheher is named as one of the most popular attractions in Azerbaijan

The ancient part of Baku city so called Icheri Sheher (Inner City) was announced by British portal Vouchercloud as the most popular attraction of Azerbaijan among the tourists from all over the world. The most significant monuments of Icheri Sheher are the Maiden Tower and the Shirvanshahs palace complex considered as the pearls of national architecture.

Ski season 2016 is opened in Georgia

Ski season at four ski resorts in Georgia is officially opened on 10th December. Opened now are Gudauri, Bakuriani (Didveli track) Goderdzi (Adjara) and Svaneti (track Hatsvali). Ski slopes in Svaneti Tetnuldi will be opened on December 24th; runs of Kokhta and Mitarbi will be opened in Bakuriani on December 25th.

Visa free policy in Uzbekistan: latest news

British travellers will no longer require a visa to enter Uzbekistan, after the reclusive Central Asian nation announced it would be axing visas for citizens of 15 countries. Nationals from 12 other countries will be able to enter without a visa, but there's a catch: they must be aged 55 or over, The Telegraph reports.
