The Third International Jazz Festival in Uzbekistan

The Third International Jazz Festival in Uzbekistan will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan since March 30 to April 30, 2017. Organizers are State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, the Variety Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, People'Artists Batyr Zakirov and the Ilkhom Theater / Ilkhom Jazz Club project. Su.


Updated recommendations of visiting religious complex Hazrati Imom

Religious complex Hazrati Imom with madrassa Muyi Muborak in Tashkent updated the recommendations for non-Islamic visitors, guides and tourists. In particular it is now prohibited to photograph or shoot video inside the madrassa  Muyi Muborak and female visitors are recommended to cover their heads with scarf while visiting the complex.


Negar Eslami Bielly's exhibition in opened Tashkent

Iranian-born female artist Negar Eslami Bielly's exhibition "World of Women. Women of the World" is opened in the Gallery of Fine Arts of Uzbekistan. The exposition will last until April 1st. The exhibition features 24 works created in different periods of the artist's life in Iran, China, Italy, Nigeria and Uzbekistan.


Tourist infrustructure is to be built at the bottom of shoaling Aral Sea

According to the recent President’s decree the government of Uzbekistan is planning a development of Aral Sea region. Building  trade and tourist complexes with mud&therapeutic baths at the highly saline lakes of the Aral Sea is one of the objectives of the plan. The document also provides organization of an annual international eco-festival under the slogan “Aral and the revival of Muynak”, production of souvenirs, restoration of abandoned ships - relics of former existing fishing industry and creation of a museum of local lore.
