Vose
Somewhat larger than Kurbon Shahid, Vose is the place to stop if you need a cafe or a basic shop. Rather more interestingly, the town is also the site of the Khoja Mumin salt mountain, a deposit more than 500m tall that is thought to contain at least 30 billion tonnes of salt. It's the second-largest salt mountain in the world, and Marco Polo describes it in his Travels. The salt is extracted commercially, but it's still possible to climb to the top for views across the valley.
