Minzifa hotel was redeveloped from a former merchant's house. The hotel is located in the Old Town of Bukhara, about five minute walk from the Lyabi House and easy reach of all the major tourist sites in the Old Town. The old city is all around you and five minutes to the centre from the hotel. The streets are not paved, and there are many local residents engaged in building renovation.Staff is very friendly and it is very pleasant when they greet you upon arrival with a pot of tea and give essential guidance to the sights to see.

Accommodation at Minzifa hotel
The rooms are in traditional decor and beautifully lit, huge bed and everything works perfectly. The three rooms on the first floor are facing the courtyard, with tables and sofas for breakfast and lounging. The rooms itself are very spacious and furnished with extremely good taste-wonderful antique carpets, wall hangings, etc. The bathroom is huge, everything tiled in stone/ceramic, very large and excellent shower. The bedroom decor and furniture are in local style with a high, carved wood ceiling and carpeted floor. The beds are wide and firm, there is an excellent reading light, effective air conditioning despite the intense heat of summer and a multi-station satellite TV and radio.

Dining at Minzifa hotel
Breakfasts are good and very healthy. It's relatively standard fare for hotels on the Silk Road route: yogurt, fresh bread w/local jams, cheese and sausage, coffee, a hot entree, fruit and all very good in quality and quantity. They serve breakfast outside on a 'supa' or at a table, comprised fresh hot and cold delicious dishes. There is beautiful, shady courtyard and especially it is very cool on a hot day. Minzifa also runs a restaurant called the Cafe Minzifa, at which you can eat on the rooftop every night, and have excellent grilled chicken, Greek salads, etc. Minzifa restaurant is very popular with tourists and high quality service at a good price and the craft shop Minzifa in the second trading dome - the latter is a very relaxed and educational environment.Very good choice for dining-beautiful view of the domed bazaars under moonlight, solicitous service, and again a five minute walk from the hotel.Dinner must be ordered in advance and is available at a house a few hundred yards away, served on the roof of an old house.

Facilities of Minzifa hotel
