New Moon Hotel is a small cozy hotel located in heart of an ancient part of Bukhara constructed in ancient Bukhara style. It is located 2 minutes walk from Lyabi-Hovuz square. Airport is in 10 minutes drive from the hotel, a taxi stand at 50 meters. Location of the hotel makes it a good place to stay if you are interested in sightseeing.

The hotel is built in a traditional Uzbek style with a courtyard. Graceful wooden columns, with carved Oriental patterns, wall frescos in style of ancient masters, orientalcarpets, from everywhere you get a touch of antiquity and oriental legends.Here you can begin acquaintance with history and culture of the ancient Orient. You will plunge into a life and culture of traditional Bukhara. Here you will take pleasure from oriental national ware, to sit on bed (ayvan) behind a cup of fragrant tea, to listen to legends of ancient Bukhara, will get acquainted with traditions and to feel true hospitality of the Uzbek people.

The building is quite new and some rooms are under construction. The courtyard is big with tables and benches. It provides a nice place to relax. The staff is really friendly, and will take good care of you. If you want to stay a couple of days in Bukhara at a cheap but decent place, this is where you can go. It is not recommended for long term staying as the rooms are quite small and after 1-2 weeks you'll not feel comfortable there.

Accommodation at New Moon Hotel
Pleasant and tidy rooms, qualitative service, affable and hospitable owners - the traveler can not wish more. There are 20 rooms, mostly double/twins and one triple room. Rooms are equipped with all modern conveniences. The hotel "New moon" - gives to the visitors the cozy rooms decorated in Oriental style which will satisfy requirements of each visitor. Light, decorated in gentle tones that will calm your eyes, the soft and convenient beds, and the furniture made of a natural tree. Here you will feel yourself as at home, in a cosines and comfort. Each room includes elements of modern life such as - satellite television, the conditioner, the refrigerator, bathing and toilet rooms done in the European style. Comfort and conveniences of our time in a combination with warm, beauty and cosines of oriental style will make you want to come here again and again.

Dining at New Moon Hotel
The hotel has cafe "New Moon", which works from 7am till 11pm. Breakfast is basic but nice, pancakes, jam, eggs, fruit, bread, butter, meat and cheese, marmalade, fruit (watermelon, grapes), and some local specialties and of course tea and coffee. It is very nice and plentiful. All is served at the table. There is an inner yard with several tables, quite cozy, with unlimited supply of tea. The staff is helpful, but not intrusive - if you need something, you have to ask, they will not chase you offering their services.
