One of the best-presented small museums in Uzbekistan, this collection showcases the life of Mukarram Turgunbaeva, one of the country's most famous dancers and the founder and director of the Bahor folk dance ensemble. Focused on dance in the late 1920s and 1930s, exhibits include elaborate and beautifully displayed dance costumes, performance posters and memorabilia. There is also an extensive archive of Uzbek folk song and music recordings. Fascinating and highly recommended.
