Meros guest house has central locationinside the old town and is reasonably secure. The rooftop has a great view over Khiva and is a perfect location to enjoy city skyline.This hotel isclose to vicinity of many tourist attractions, but off the main souvenir-tourist street, so it is quiet and allows you to feel yourself to be in 15th century Khorezm. The guest house is amazing, well decorated, very atmospheric, the meals are lavish, the roof top terrace is a gift, but most of all it is the charming family, the big heart and delicate style of making you feel at home.

It is not only the gorgeous hand-painted ceilings and antiques and embroidered suzannes all over the house- but the wonderfully comfortable but simple bedroom and huge balcony.This guest house is tastefully decorated and one can sense a homely atmosphere in it. The host family is welcoming and adorable. Their warm disposition helps you enjoy Khiva better. They always are ready to impart with valuable information on hiring vehicles, places to eat and sightseeing destinations.

The rooms of the hotelare basic and big enough. The bedding and pillow are a bit musty and the sheets don't fit properly,but this is pretty normal in budget accommodation. The rooms are a bit old and the place is not the shiniest, but if you're looking for an authentic Uzbek homestay, this is the right place. All the people there are good and helpful, the building itself is pretty interesting. Nice decoration in the common rooms andis comfortable to sleep in with cozy beds. The bathroom is decent with hot water supply. The bedroom is very nice, with a modern private bathroom and the best is probably the large terrace overlooking the walls of the old town which is fantastic for reading or taking a nap in the hot hours of the day.

Breakfast is fine – nothing special. Owners of Meros guest house are very friendly and always available to recommend a restaurant, a place to visit or to arrange the transportations or taxi booking.Very beautiful lobby with big table, where you can communicate to other guests, have a breakfast and drink evening tea. You’ll have possibility to have delicious dinners here.The food they serve is also surplus and delicious with a varied menu every day.
