Ark Samarkand hotel enjoys central locations and is within 3 minutes' walk from the famous Registan Complex. Set in the historical centre, Ark Hotel provides easy access to Samarkand's main attractions, including the Amir Temur Monument and Bibi-Khanym Mosque. The nearby street has several shops.

The hotel is rather small with just 14 rooms in total.  Rooms are basically furnished in local Uzbek IKEA style with lot of wood, and have flat-screen TVs, work desk and private bathrooms with slippers and a hairdryer.

You can have a snack at the on-site bar or use a vending machine at the reception. It is easy to find several restaurants within a 10-minute walk of this property.

The staff is helpful and mainly run by eager to help teenagers. They can arrange city tours or advise on major sightseeing.
