Konstantin hotel is more a business type hotel and is located in modern part of Samarkand next to major business districts and administrative offices. One would definitely need to use some transport to explore ancient monuments of Samarkand since they are not within walking reach. But taxis are quite cheap so that should not be a problem. The city is rather large,it is the second largest city in Uzbekistan, so one would need using transport anyway to visit all the ancient monuments of the city and nearby surroundings. So if you are a tourist and do not bother about location too much then this hotel is recommended.The staff is very polite, always eager to serve you and leave a most favorable impression of Konstantin Hotel and Samarkand city overall.
