Golden Valley Hotel is in peaceful and green location a bit further away from central area of Tashkent. It takes only 10 minutes to reach Tashkent's downtown with its business and trade centers, restaurants and night clubs. Hotel is just a 7-minute walk from Habib Abdullayev Metro Station that makes easy to get around the Tashkent. There is a minimarket with a various choice of the goods in affinity from a hotel complex. If you walk towards the main road for 10 minutes there are a couple of really good places to eat.

This comfortable accommodation features 52 spacious rooms and suites with smoking and non-smoking room options. Rooms are spacious indeed, luxe rooms have corridor, guestroom and the bedroom. The only difference between standard and lux rooms is the size, furniture and room facilities are the same in both categories. No tea & coffee facilities in the rooms (just 2 cups), no slippers, no bathrobe. Toiletries and a hairdryer are provided in the bathrooms. Rooms are clean and well maintained.

Two panoramic lifts are operating in a hotel complex and will deliver you to any floor within couple of seconds. They operate key cards to open rooms, but the system gets faulty repeatedly and they often has to issue guests with Master cards that literally can open every door, so avoid leaving valuables in the room.
Open buffet breakfast is very good, plentiful, varied and worth trying. The service is good and the staff is friendly making every effort to make your stay as at home.

Golden Valley Hotel features good size indoor pool and spa area. The next door aqua park is quite good and gives 30 % discount for hotel guests who also have no time restriction unlike outsiders. There is also decent gym, sauna and a Turkish bath in the hotel, all is included into room rates. There is free Internet WI-FI access throughout the territory of the hotel.

Hardly a full weight 4-star but generally a good hotel with minor inconsistencies. Not a perfect location but easy access to central area of Tashkent within 10 minutes by taxi or public transport. A good value for money. Recommended.
