Malika Tashkent Hotel is located in Chilanzar district of Tashkent city. This hotel is one of several in the chain of Malika Hotels spread across Uzbekistan. Unfortunately, this particular hotel seems to be the worst among other Malika Hotels. The hotel doesn't have a prime location and one would need to take a 20 minutes taxi ride to get to city centre. Also there are no worthwhile sightseeing places nearby this hotel.

Malika Tashkent Hotel provides rooms equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, and digital telephone lines. Furniture is quite basic, air conditioning is weak, free Wi-Fi is very slow and is usable only to read emails, but all-in-all this hotel should be fine for unpretentious traveler. The hotel is in need of serious renovation, the carpets are worn-out and give a feeling of dirt, in some rooms the toilet is nearly falling apart, no shower gel is provided, no slippers, no bedside table and lamps provided,  bed covers are stained, the chair cover is dirty and stained as well, one towel for twin/double room. Cleanliness in the rooms and toilets in general requires serious management attention.

The breakfast is very simple. Despite deficiencies in comfort the hotel has a very friendly staff.

There is a lobby restaurant with 60 seats serving mainly national cuisine. The Takoma Night Bar, located downstairs from the main lobby, offers friendly service, mixed drinks, fresh beer and a special night menu. Entertainment includes exotic dancing. Here you can also relax on the classic Uzbek "Tapchans" propped over a fresh water stream and enjoy fresh kebabs, plov and many other Uzbek national dishes as you sip green tea at Malika outdoor cafe.

Not the best hotel in otherwise good Malika chain. Location is not prime, facilities are below standards, only the price is a positive point. For slightly more you can find a better option.
