Viardo hotel is located just 7 minute drive from the Tashkent International Airport and 10 minute drive from downtown. A supermarket just nearby as well as nice UZ traditional cafe. Keep in mind that the taxi is only feasible option to get to central Tashkent with all its sightseeing. But with taxi rates ridiculously cheap ($2-3 USD per ride) that should not be a major concern.

Viardo Hotel consists of 12 standard single rooms, 8 twin rooms and 1 lux room.  All rooms are quite spacious and equipped with IDD phone, cable TV, mini bar, air-conditioner. Standard room have king size beds and can comfortably accommodate either one person or a couple. Lux room has spacious bedroom with a guestroom coming with home cinema and multi-channel cable TV. Linen is fresh though slightly worn-out.

Restaurant "Viardo" is serving fine Italian and European cuisine and is located on the ground floor of the hotel. Prices are obviously higher than average for Tashkent. Not surprisingly the restaurant is hardly visited.

Good Gym and outdoor pool are featured in this hotel, and the garden is nice for sun shining or rest with a drink. Free Wi-Fi is available but the signal is pretty bad.

Hotel personnel are ready to take care of all the aspects of your stay in Tashkent and ensure your comfort and good spirit. They are pretty friendly and helpful though more training for western clientele is advisable.

Average hotel for Tashkent. Nothing particular to either choose or refrain from it.
