Then it means we were really unlucky.
Because there were a lot of downsides.
Mandarins that tasted like men’s cologne. And bread like plasticine. On the second day there was no water.
And yes, I have allergies.
The price was 35 dollars per night, I wouldn’t have paid even 10.
Well, it’s an experience, of course.

We didn’t have issues with the sewage. The mattresses are indeed hard, but I’ve read that about many hotels in Uzbekistan.
At our time the internet was fine, my child had online lessons

Everything comes down to price–quality
When you pay a lot — you expect accordingly.
And you start nitpicking, every little thing annoys you.
Or there are additional services in the hotel for a higher price. Like a spa, for example.
But when the rooms are all the same — I personally don’t see the point in overpaying. If the price is lower than others — I can overlook some things.
I don’t have allergies, so I might not have noticed the mold.
Of course, tastes differ, everyone has their own criteria

In Samarkand, Hotel Nur

We stayed there for 2 nights.
But honestly, it didn’t work for us at all. The worst hotel in 2 weeks in Uzbekistan. We stayed in all kinds of places. Wi-Fi was often unavailable or very weak. The beds — like boards, they checked us into a room on the 1st floor, the room was full of mold and there was a strong sewage smell in the bathroom, overall I won’t list everything... But it’s not our level...
Everyone has different tastes and needs.

By the way, the Eternal City is a must-visit
The area there is big, very beautiful!
You can walk there for a whole day. At least half a day for sure

The hotel’s location is really great. Between us and Registan Square there’s only a narrow road. You can’t see it when you’re on the roof. And it feels like you’re right at the Registan. You could stay there just for those breakfasts. Plus, at any time you could have tea, coffee, or even your own food there.
I can’t say how it is in summer mornings. Right now, at the end of March, mornings are very comfortable.

Very tempting! I really love eating on a terrace, or like here, on a rooftop. Simple food becomes refined! But we’re planning to come at the end of August — the roof will probably be scorching hot? There aren’t any awnings there, right? Would it be impossible even to have breakfast in the morning? Has anyone tried it?

In Samarkand, Hotel Nur — the wall across the road is the Registan. The location is amazing. We ate on the rooftop
And the price is lower than in the surrounding area 👍🏻
