If you want a decent hotel close to Yerevan's city centrethen Europe hotel is a good choice. It's not luxury and it has no interesting views as it's tucked away in a side street, but it is clean, comfortable and friendly. It is located in a quiet street, yet you are just five minutes from the main square and from various shops or restaurants. If you seek nightlife there is a bar with live music on the other side of the Street (called Bourbon St).

Rooms are quite OK but lack some of the amenities you would expect in Western Europe, such as coffee and tea making facilities in the room, but this seems to be standard across Armenia except in the large international chain hotels.Rooms are clean and adequate,some of them have a small view on the Ararat and very good service. Bed is very good to sleep in. Rooms on the higher floors are remarkably better. The decor is not luxurious, but practical. There is free highly functional Wi-Fi in the rooms on the 3rd floor. The air conditioning is great after a day in the heat of the city. There is comfortable cheerful lobby with ample furniture to accommodate guests and visitors. There is a small bar and casual food service is available in the lobby or for room service.

They serve a good breakfast and have just a bar service for food on the evenings during your stay, although the in-room documentation suggests there is normally a restaurant service.The breakfast includesdelicious coffee,fresh fruit, pastries, toast, yoghurts, meats, cheeses, and choices of delicious fresh bread including lavashand a variety of hot and cold choices every day.

There's a special attention to the European clients, just like the hotel name implies. Personnel are overall generous and kind, smiling and willing to help. The receptionists are professional, courteous, and very helpful. The multi-lingual staff speaks excellent English, Russian in addition to Armenian.
