Royal Tulip is an ideally situated hotel with relation to major tourist sites of Yerevan.Republic Square, a huge shopping mall, craft markets (Fridays only), top quality locally handmade artisan shops and an abundance of great cafes and restaurants are all around.

It is for sure one of the best hotels in Yerevan. It has a wonderful location next to the Republic Square, unique style and at the same time a very cozy and homely atmosphere.The whole hotel is very well renovated. The hotel exudes a wonderful calm, peaceful ambience. The lobby is enormous, lovely areas to sit and admire the decor and enjoy a drink, very inviting! The carpets are getting a bit worn but otherwise the general impression is good.Hotel has quiet atmosphere and good for both business & leisure trips.

Hotel is refurnished and rooms look very nice, size of the rooms is not that big, but acceptable. There is Wi-Fi in every room, which is very convenient.If your room will be on the street side, the noise level is quite reasonable. The rooms are decorated in soft pale and golden colors with beautiful paintings on the walls. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, quiet air conditioning, plenty of bottled water and space for suitcases.

You can try some spa treatments here, body scrub and massage procedures.

The breakfast is good, you can order eggs and coffee any way you want it without extra cost.

On the negative side is the fact that the bar which is open 24/7 is in the atrium which means that if there is a party going on it keeps all the guests awake. The other negative thing (a general problem in Armenia) is the smoking. Smoking is not allowed in the restaurant, but this is compensated in the lobby and bar area, and even though there are some smoke free rooms in the hotel are can’t avoid the smell of nicotine in the hotel.

Hotel has a quick efficient, friendly register at reception and helpful employees.

Good hotel with some minor details to improve it services. Otherwise worth staying.
