Villa Delenda is an old villa where is Italian-Armenian association has its premises. The location is perfect, a 5 minute walk from the city centre close to cafes, bars and Republic Square. It is located near a nice park, but the area is mixed - older properties that are falling apart alongside those that are nicely maintained.

Villa Delenda is beautifully decorated, but the rooms are extremely small and there are none of the amenities that one expects from a real hotel.Roomslocated in the front part of the hotel are a little bit noisy but come with plenty of space.Hotel has thin walls and sometimes you can hear everything from the room upstairs.Bring your own shampoo as they do not provide any bathroom utensils.

Villa Delenda does not accept credit cards. All payment must be made cash only. Some travelers will not be bothered by this, but for those who do not like to carry large amounts of cash for bed and board should take that into consideration. If you have early flight you can ask reception and a quiet knock will wake youand the smiling concierge wishyou a safe trip. The breakfast is filling, a variety of breads, eggs and cheeses.

Most of staff isyoung ladies. There is also no reception or service at night and guests are given keys to let themselves in and out of the building. At times the service can be better, but the real reason is more of a language issue rather than the service.

Because of all factors, maybe it should be classified as a 'bed and breakfast' NOT a proper hotel. But with the prime location and moderate rates this is a property to consider whilst planning your trip.
