Small privately run with just 9 rooms 28 may hostel (it's called actually Guest House Inn, but there is another hotel with the same name so to avoid confusion stick to 28 May) boasts very central location and moderate rates that are so rare to Baku. Guest House Inn & Hostel is one of the cheaper places to stay in Baku, though still expensive in terms of low-budget travelling. It's just 2 minutes walk to Central Railway station and nearby '28 May' tube (Metro) station and 10 minutes walk to Caspian Sea Boulevard. 28 may hostel is close and within walking distance to main tourist attractions of Baku with a number of good bars and cafes nearby. This would be an ideal place to stay for those who is on budget: decent accommodation, good service, nice staff, comfortable location... what else is needed to start exploring Baku and its surroundings. The building itself is located within living courtyard, has its own parking and security. The place is very quiet, clean and safe. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The major thing is that the property can accommodate either for private stay (single and double room) or hostel-like lodging. The guesthouse is run by a Russian couple. All is very basic and in good working condition. The breakfast is served in a plastic kitchen setting and is very basic too. Kitchen is availble for customers' use.

Take room N5 for a single use (it has a small balcony), for double occupancy take room N3

Located close to the main train station at 28th of May, it provides basic, but clean rooms and a friendly & helpful staff. Overall good budget hostel in Baku.
