The Central Park Hotel is in a rundown residential area about 40 minutes walking from shops and restaurants. Getting down to town is easy.To walk to the promenade: turn right when you leave the hotel and then the first left (huge road) and continue all the way down the hill (15min). After a bit more than 5min there is a big "citimart" supermarket on the right, as well as money changers on the left. To the fountain square it is about 15-20min walk. There is a small cafe' on the corner to the leftif you want to have lunch or a small dinner. For good meals try also "Viking" restaurant nearby. There are some problems with the parking, the hotel has no own parking space and side road is always full.

The rooms at this hotel come with small balconies, theyare nice and comfortable, the bathroom is of a good size and clean. There is a good size flat screen TVwith several English channels and air conditioning that works. The suite rooms have a huge bedroom with twin beds, a closet, a desk, an armchair and excellent lighting. The sitting rooms have two chairs, a coffee table and a cabinet. The beds are very good and the hotel is on a side street so there is not much noise. Rooms have a nice view of the city, the Caspian and the Flame Towers. There is no refrigerator/mini-bar (there is a place for it but none there) and a hot pot for making tea/coffee in some rooms.

Breakfast have a small selection of food and could have more fruits. The breakfast is served on the 11th floor with panoramic views over the city and the Caspian Sea.

There is also a gym on the 12 floor from which will give you a great view of the Flame towers at night (light show) in case your balcony faces the wrong side.

The reception staff is very friendly and speaks good English, though could be better trained! The front desk can order a taxi for you.

The hotel itself is a perfectly respectable 3 star hotel (it might have more local stars, but according to European standards it is just a 3 star hotel). Great place to stay and explore the old/ new town!
