The Park Inn Hotel is located in the central part of Baku with most of the must-see tourist attractions by the side of the hotel. It faces the Caspian Sea offereing amazing views of Baku Bay. The sea is just 100 meter away, but there is no beach - just a promenade very popular among locals. Very nice place to jog in the mornings. Old City, Maiden Tower, Shirvanshah Palace and most business and government offices are nearby.

It has however also some disadvantages, noisy surroundings (traffic, shopping mall opposite), the very popular 'Eleven' bar (almost like a night club) at the top floor that stays open until late. The noise of the loud music can be heard from the rooms. So for the panoramic view, ask for a high floor, however the higher you get, the closer to the bar... If you want a sea view go to the front of the hotel but this does mean that you're going to hear the constant beeping from the cars outside which seems to never stop. For a quiet room ask for a room with a backside view. The mornings and the evenings, especially the sunrise and sunset make a stunning view and leave you with a mouth opened awe in admiration.

The hotel is in a ideal location with the city center less than a 10 minute walk with plenty of Visa/Mastercard ATM's and money exchange shops. Directly opposite the hotel is the Park Bulvar with plenty of modern shops (Debenhams, as well), cinema and food outlets.

A total of 248 rooms that have been designed to provide comfort to the most demanding of the guest. Many of the rooms have panoramic sea views. They are spacious and modern, decorated in bright colors, the normal Park Inn standard: very functional without unnecessary luxury. There is a coffee and tea maker in the room. Small desk and sitting area. The bathroom is shower-only and basic amenities.

The rooms are good, not too big or spacious, but a standard room is good enough for 2. The amenities in the room are good. The rooms are equipped with TV, fridge, safe, air con and the bathroom/ shower is great. Internet is free in the rooms at a low speed, great for emails and Skype. A higher speed is availalble (2mb) at around 70 AZN for 14 days, there are addtional pricing options too, daily, weekly, etc.

Victor's bar provides a snack at night and Eleven is a roof top restaurant with an excellent view. Both provide standard food at a high price. The breakfast is good, so is the lunch and dinner. A bit limited dinner menu, but it is easy to get around to other places near by.

The hotel has a basic gym which has some basic things you will need for a short trip to keep ticking over. The hotel provides towels and drinking water in the gym. There is no swimming pool.

Breakfast is a good buffet. The hotel also provides well-appointed business center, excellent restaurant and bar to experience a luxurious stay.

Service is good and staff friendly and efficient. The hotel staff is known to take special care of its guests and is available round the clock. Reception is always happy to help but not well trained to advice on sightseeing programs. This is a business hotel and tourists are scarce that might be an excuse.

Mirvari Club is on the top floor with great views and is quite nice! This sushi restaurant is offering a tranquil Japanese atmosphere. 
Victor's Bar overlooking the Boulevard is an ideal place for a cocktail after work or a coffee break and light snacks at any time. A lavish bar that serves an assortment of wines & cocktails.
Glory Restaurant is opened for breakfast, lunch or dinner, offering flavorsome Azeri delicacies along with scrumptious dishes.

In short, Park Inn is a good and recommendable business traveller hotel. If you stay here for a few nights during a business trip it will serve the purpose. But the tourist can find a better suitable hotel. There are several options in Baku to get a hotel with more character.
