Qafqaz Point Hotel is one of the 5-star (as they market it) hotels in Baku. Recently opened this hotel offers state of the art accommodation and recreation facilities. Qafqaz Point is known to be a cocoon of luxury and comfort, offering excellent facilities and warm hospitality. A favorite jaunt of corporate travelers in Baku on business, the hotel serves all guests with a touch of business-like efficiency and convenience.

Located in the less busy business area of Baku, Qafqaz Point Hotel enjoys a distinct locational advantage, and is acclaimed the ideal retreat for travelers visiting Baku on business or official purpose. It’s just 10 minutes drive to main city centre and in a quiet area which is important in Baku with its traffic noise. The immediate surroundings are unremarkable. But location is okay as long as you don't want to walk anywhere.

Qafqaz Point offers 74 rooms (44 single, 26 superior, 3 junior suites and 1 deluxe suite) which are a blend of soothing de'cor and contemporary facilities.  The rooms at the hotel are all delightfully done up to match the expectations of its high end guests. Rooms are large, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms include a decent shower. Decor is rather bland, an exercise in how many shades of brown they could come up with. Free internet with a decent connection in all parts of the hotel. The lobby is rather small.

Qafqaz Point Hotel boasts of multi cuisine Panorama Restaurant  at the top of the hotel with some panorama over Baku city and serves everything from traditional Azeri cuisine to French gourmet delights. Hotel has also another Nahchivan Restaurant in lobby area where the breakfast is served. The breakfast buffet is okay without being inspired: hot items are pretty much limited to eggs. The chef can cook a decent omelette however, so if you are okay with that every day you will be fine.

Qafqaz Point hotel offers a fully equipped 24-hour business center and meeting rooms.

Lanel Health Club offers superb facilities for relaxations. It has a small gym, nice SPA, decent size swimming pool, hydro massage, Turkish bath. Traditional massage is available upon requests. At Vitamin Bar you can have a wide choice of healthy fruit&veg beverages in a relaxed atmosphere. The outside terrace is a fine place to sit, by the way.

The staff is friendly and helpful, but expect to have minor problems with the language since there were reports that not all the stafа can talk English.

Average location. No chance for 5* hotel, at best it can get only 4*. Not so crowded and noisy hotel. Would be OK for those on a business trip. Tourists should seek more centrally located premises.
