Day 1    Baku

Arrival to Baku airport in the afternoon. Transfer to the hotel. Check in. Baku city tour. Visit to Memory Alley – “Shehidler Khiyabany”, panoramic view of Baku city from the park. visit to medieval fortress of  Old Town - 'Icheri Sheher' 15-17 c.c., “Maiden's Tower“ – 9 c., the Palace of the Shirvans -15 c. medieval CaravanSaray -15c., medieval Markets square, handmade carpet’s workshop art studio. Dinner. Overnight in Baku.

Day 2    Baku - Absheron - Gobustan

Breakfast. Drive to Absheron peninsula and visit mud volcanoes. Continue to Gobustan. Visit the Gobustan reserve, known for hosting thousands of rock engravings spread over 100 sq. km depicting hunting scenes, people, ships, constellations and animals (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Its oldest petroglyphs date from the 12th century BC. Visit the Zoroastrian Fire Temple of Ateshgah. Return to Baku. Dinner. Overnight in Baku

Day 3    Baku - Ganja

Breakfast. Check out from hotel. Drive to Gandja. At the entrance of city visit to Nizami mausoleum. After accommodation in hotel have a city tour, visit to Juma mosque, Javad khan mausoleum, bottle house. Overnight in Gandja.

Day 4    Ganja - Tbilisi 

Breakfast. Check out from hotel. Drive to Azerbaijan - Georgia border at Red Bridge. After border formalities change the guide and transportation. Start the Georgian part of the tour. Transfer to Tbilisi. En route visit Dmanisi ruins (proclaimed as the birthplace of the first Europeans). Arrival in Tbilisi. Check in to the hotel. Rest. At the evening welcome dinner with folk show.

Day 5    Tbilisi 

Breakfast. Tbilisi sightseeing tour including Metekhi Church, overlooking the river Mtkvari (13th century); Sulphur Baths; Narikala Fortress, one of the oldest fortifications in the city (4th century); Sioni Cathedral (6-7th century), which houses the cross of St. Nino, the woman who brought Christianity to Georgia. All these sights mark the end of the Old Town and they are in close proximity and pleasant walking distance. Afterwards we take a stroll along Rustaveli Avenue, the main street in Tbilisi, visit National museum of Tbilisi and Open air ethnographical museum. Dinner and overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 6    Tbilisi - Kakheti - Sighnaghi - Tbilisi 

Breakfast. Drive to Kakheti, visiting Bodbe nunnery (IX), fortified town Sighnaghi, free time for walking. Visiting “Peasant’s Tear” vineyards, “Marani” – wine cellar where wine is made in clay vessels according the old Georgian traditions, wine degustation, return back to Tbilisi, en route visit VIII- IX cc two domed church- Gurjaanis Kvetalsminda. Dinner and overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 7    Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Gori - Uplistikhe - Tbilisi 

Breakfast. Drive to Mtskheta, which was the capital of Georgia before establishment of Tbilisi. Mtskheta is approximately 2,500 years-old and because of the abundance of ancient monuments - which are included in the UNESCO Heritage List. Here you will see one of the masterpieces of world architecture - Jvari Church built in the end of VI century and majestic cathedral of XI century - Svetitskhoveli. Continue excursion to Gori, visit Uplistsikhe - one of the first cities in the country. It is a city carved in the rock cave history of which starts at the beginning of the Iron Age. Dinner and overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 8    Tbilisi - Ananuri - Kazbegi - Tbilisi 

Breakfast. Take the Military Georgian Road across the Caucasus. Visit Ananuri fortress, alpine ski resort Gudauri and via Cross Pass arrival in Stephantsminda, walk up to Gergeti Trinity Church with the beautiful views of Kazbegi mountain peak and the village. Return to Tbilisi. Dinner and overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 9    Tbilisi - Bagratshen - Sanahin - Haghpat - Dilijan

Breakfast. Check out from hotel. Drive to Georgia-Armenia border. Arrive at Sadakhlo-Bagratashen checkpoint. After border formalities, change the guide and transportation. Start the Armenian part of the tour. Visit Sanahin and Haghpat monasteries (UNESCO World Heritage Sites). Drive to resort town of Dilijan. Visit Old Dilijan street. Check into a hotel. Dinner. Overnight in Dilijan

Day 10    Dilijan - Sevan - Selim - Tatev - Goris 

Breakfast. Check out from hotel. Drive to Lake Sevan. Visit Sevanavank monastery. Via Selim pass drive to the Southern part of Armenia. Stop at Selim caravanserai for taking a pictures. Continue to Tatev monastery - one of the most beautiful and impressive places in Armenia. Take the cable car “Wings of Tatev”, which is the longest non stop cable car in the world (5,7 km). Drive to Goris. Check into a hotel. Dinner. Overnight in Goris.

Day 11    Gorsi - Zorats Qarer - Noravank - Khor Virap - Yerevan 

Breakfast. Check out from hotel. Visit Zorats Qarer (Karahunj) ancient observatory. Drive to the masterpiece of medieval Armenian architecture, the Noravank monastery (13th-14th centuries). Stopover for wine tasting at the local wine factory in Areni. Drive to Khor Virap Monastery, where the Mt. Ararat reveals its breathtaking size and splendor. Continue to Yerevan. Check into hotel. Dinner. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 12    Yerevan - Echmiadzin - Zvarnots - Yerevan 

Breakfast. Drive to Echmiadzin, the spiritual and administrative center of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Visit the Main Cathedral of Echmiadzin. Visit Echmiadzin Treasury, where amongst many other relics, you can see the Holy Spear, with which Jesus Christ was pierced on the cross. Visit ruins of the 7th century Zvartnots Temple (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Return to Yerevan. Yerevan city tour. Visit Mother Armenia monument and get a spectacular view of Mt. Ararat with panorama of central Yerevan. Visit the Matenadaran Institute of Ancient Manuscripts. Take a tour of Cascade complex, Opera House, Northern Avenue and Republic Square. Visit Armenian Genocide Memorial. Dinner. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 13    Yerevan - Geghard - Garni - Symphone of Stones - Yerevan 

Breakfast. Drive to the one of the most beautiful monasteries of Armenia, the cave monastery of Geghard (12th-13th centuries, a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Continue to oldest surviving building on the territory of Armenia, the Garni Pagan Temple. Take local 4x4 cars for visiting Garni gorge, famous for its “Symphony of the Stones” basalt columns. It is a part of the Khosrov State Reserve. Return to Yerevan. Take a tour of the “Ararat” brandy factory, featuring degustation of the two types of Armenian brandy. Farewell dinner featuring Armenian folk music. Visit Republic Square to see the “Singing Fountain” show. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 13    Yerevan 

Breakfast. Check out from hotel. Transfer to Zvartnots International Airport. Departure from Yerevan.
