<p data-start="241" data-end="596">Start: Ak-Suu junction — on foot — Altyn Arashan (overnight at Hotel Elsa) — on horseback to Ala-Kul Pass — overnight before the pass — ascent to the 3,900 m pass — descent to the lake of the same name — on foot to the Orphan shelter (overnight at the great Kerben Syrta campsite) — then hiking through Karakol Gorge — returned to the city by hitchhiking.</p>
