We also went the other day to the Center of Islamic Civilization, and nearby is Hazrati Imam, within walking distance from Gafur Gulyam metro station. The free light show takes place in the square, which is fenced off. The lighting was turned on at 19:30, the show itself started at 19:50 — it’s amazing!! ❤️ similar to Registan, but you watch it from closer and it feels more масштабно, just a pity nothing is understandable)) they said it takes place every day. The show is held only under certain weather conditions. If it rains or humidity is high, it doesn’t happen. Otherwise, daily at 19:30.

Yesterday we visited the Center of Islamic Civilization.
A huge exhibition complex. The tour lasted almost 3 hours instead of 2, and even then it felt rushed. You really need to come for half a day. Under one roof there are 4–5 museums.
Crowds — massive. We didn’t make it to the show, the only downside, but the sunsets are amazing. Buy tickets in advance. You can do it online via itiket.uz.
