Who is making these sounds?
Do they actually live in the city or what? I thought they were somewhere out in the fields.
There are lots of them in cafés. Locally they’re called “bedana.” They do live in the fields too, and in houses in cages like the ones shown in your video, and in cafés quails are also cooked in kazan pots. ))
But in general they’re often kept in private homes and in cafés to create a cozy atmosphere—they sing so beautifully. Quails are afraid of bright light and drafts, which is why the cages are covered with fabric caps.
Aaaah, so those are cages. I thought they were some kind of lamps, and the birds were under the roof 😄
