Climate in the region of Marble Wall peak. Climate of Central Tien-Shan mountains is sharply continental.
Temperature. The coldest month is January, the hottest is July. Average temperature of July is +3 ° C, but it may reach +17 ° C on a sunny day. At height of more than 3750 m average July temperature reaches +6 ° C even in the shady parts. The warmest month in the region of Talgar peak starting from 2500 m and higher is August.
Precipitation. Precipitation in July and August reach 900 mm. Average date when firm snow cover is formed is October 30. Average date when snow start thawing is April 2.
Wind. Winds in the mountains are not strong. Change of wind directions takes place between 8.00 and 10.00 o'clock in the morning when wind blows from the valleys to the mountains, and between 8.00 and 10.00 o'clock in the evening when it blows down from the mountains. Normally the winds blow at 1,8/2,3 m/sec. Strong winds are very rare, but may happen in May or November.
Avalanches. March and April is the time when most avalanches go down.

Detailed program:
Day 1
Arrival to Almaty. Transfer to the Kazzhol Hotel. Short rest. Almaty (i.e. "father of apples" or "father of apple trees") is the former capital of Kazakhstan and the nation's largest city, with a population of 1,5 mln. Despite losing its status as the capital to Astana in 1997, Almaty remains the major commercial and cultural centre of Kazakhstan. The city is located in the mountainous area of southern Kazakhstan, near the border with Kyrgyzstan.
Second half of the day will be dedicated to Alamty's landmarks sightseeing: visit Panfilov park, the remarkable Cathedral of the Holy Ascension (built in 1907 by architect Andrei Zenkov during a period in which the main building material of the earthquake-wary city was wood. The cathedral reaches a height of more than 53m, making it one of the tallest wooden buildings in the world), Museum of national musical instruments, National museum, Medeo gorge, Republic square. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2
Breakfast. Early departure: Almaty - Chilik village - Kegen village - Tekes village - Karatogan village -frontier post "Bayankol" (390 km). Overnight at frontier post "Bayankol". Overnight in tents.
Day 3
Breakfast. Transfer: frontier post "Bayankol" - Bayankol river - Keksentas river - Zharkulak gorge (H-3010) ( 35 km ). During the day we come up by 300 m in height. Our way along very bed road among rocks. Night in tents.
Day 4
Breakfast. Foot passage: Zharkulak gorge - Sarykoinou river - base camp (H-3300) (10 km). From Zharkulak gorge we go up to the right gorge that leads out to base camp. From the Zharkulak gorge superb panorama of Central Tien-Shan mountains is open. Night in tents.
5-15 Days
Acclimatization and climbing of Marble Wall peak. Breakfasts. Night in the tents.
Day 16
Breakfast. Foot passage: Base camp - Sarykoinou river - Zharkulak gorge (10 km). Night in tents.
Day 17
Breakfast. Transfer: Zharkulak gorge - Keskentas river - Bayankol river - frontier post "Bayankol" - Tekes village - Kegen village - Chilik village - Almaty (425 km). Arrival in Almaty. Accommodation at the hotel "Zyliha", overnight.
Day 18
Transfer to airport. Departure from Almaty.
