On Septembers 6, at 17:00 the British Band will perform Sounding Retreat for the first time in Georgia. A unique performance will be followed by a joint concert of The Salamanca Band & Bugles of The Rifles and The Georgian Army Military Band. The concert is organized by the British Embassy Tbilisi, the Ministry of Defence of Georgia and Tbilisi City Hall.

The Art-Geni Festival in Georgia will be held on 10-23 of July 2017

The Art-Geni Festival is one of the most famous annual festivals in Georgia. The main goal of the event is popularization of folklore, handicrafts, folk art and traditional martial arts.The first part of the will be held in Surami of Shida-Kartli region and the city of Mtskheta of Mtskheta-Mtianeti region.

Negar Eslami Bielly's exhibition in opened Tashkent

Iranian-born female artist Negar Eslami Bielly's exhibition "World of Women. Women of the World" is opened in the Gallery of Fine Arts of Uzbekistan. The exposition will last until April 1st. The exhibition features 24 works created in different periods of the artist's life in Iran, China, Italy, Nigeria and Uzbekistan.

Samegrelo regional administration is working out new tourist route to mountain Silver Lake

Tobavarchhili or Silver Lake is the common name for six lakes located in the altitude of 2 650 meters above sea level in Samegrelo region, West Georgia. This is one of the most beautiful and inaccessible natural attractions of Georgia. Regional administration of Samegrelo is now planning to develop a new tourist route "Toba” with proper infrastructure to allow easy access to the lakes.

Double-decker trains in Georgia

Agenda.ge reports that another two Stadler Kiss double-decker trains will be running en route Tbilisi - the Black Sea coast on this summer. The trains will arrive to Georgia at the end of February 2017 and undergo testing procedures. The trains are adapted for persons with disabilities and can carry 450 passengers for one flight.
