Bishkek - Osh - Batken - Khujand - Dushanbe 

Day 1    Bishkek - Ala Archa Natural Park - Bishkek

Upon arrival to the international airport “Manas” you will be met by the Kyrgyz guide and transferred to the hotel in Bishkek. Early check-in. After a short rest we drive to the Ala Archa Natural Park (40 km off Bishkek). On the way to the park short stop at the traditional Kyrgyz cemetery and excursion to the Gumbez (mausoleum) of Baitik Baatyr, the local respected tribal leader. At the territory of the park tourists can trek up the main Ala Archa gorge to enjoy views of magnificent peaks of Kyrgyz Alatau Ridge (Tien Shan Mountains).

OptionallyWe can organize for you a barbecue lunch on the territory of the park. After an easy hike along the fast mountain river in the main gorge of Ala Archa we drive back to Bishkek. After excursion in Ala Archa gorge we have a short city tour in Bishkek city. We visit Manas Monument, the main national hero of the Kyrgyz people. Then excursion to the State History Museum and transfer to the main Ala Too Square to watch ceremony of changing of the Guard of Honor, main governmental buildings, and finish at the Old Square with Parliament House. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 2    Bishkek – Osh 

In the morning we drive to the international airport 'Manas' to catch your daily flight to Osh city. Sightseeing tour in Osh city. Osh is one of the oldest towns in Central Asia, located on the southeast edge of the Fergana Valley at the northern foot of the Pamir -Alai mountain range. Nestled in green slopes, Osh lies on both sides of the Ak-Bura River, at an altitude of 940-1070 m above sea level.

The age of the city can be judged from the rock drawings and inscriptions found on the northern slope of the four-headed Suleiman Mountain, one of the main shrines of the Islamic world in Central Asia. This mountain is located in the center of Osh and is a unique historical and architectural monument. The mountain was defense from enemies and its presence governed the unusual layout of the ancient city of Osh. A small mazar was built on the southeastern slope of the mountain, and was named Kichik Mekka ("Small Mecca") where the Muslims of the Fergana Valley would come to pray. Osh became their second Mecca. On the mount first you visit historical museum, located right in the main cave. After excursion in the museum you follow the way of all pilgrims up to the top of the hill where you watch a little mosque of Babur, The Great Mogols Dynasty founder, and take a bird eye’s view of the city.

Visitors are attracted to the bazaar in Osh with its distinct oriental colors and the aromatic smells of spices and fruits. A short walk along the colorful rows of Golden market, and watching black smiths working is an unforgettable experience.Overnight in a hotel in Osh. 

Day 3    Osh – Batken (240 km) Khujand (130 km)

In the early morning transfer to city of Batken. Meeting with Tajik guide and driver on Tajik-Kyrgyz border (near Batken). Transfer to Khujand. Visit the Arbob castle. Check-in at hotel. Lunch in a national restaurant. After lunch visiting the Museum of History and the Old Fortress of Khujand. Visiting the Mosque and Madrassah Sheikh Muslihiddin and Oriental bazaar "Panjshanbe". Dinner at restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4    Khujand – Dushanbe

After breakfast flight to Dushanbe. Upon arrival sightseeing tour of Dushanbe including visit to mausoleum of the King of Samanid empire Ismoili Somoni, Central park named after Rudaki, Nation Palace, walking in the Independence Square, where you can see the flagpole, which is as the second tallest flagpole in the world (H165m). Visit the National Museum of Tajikistan, where is the famous "Sleeping Buddha". Visit the eastern bazaar «Green Bazaar» or «Shohmansur» (the official name of the bazaar). Lunch in a national restaurant in Dushanbe.

After lunch driving to Hissar fortress (35 km) – one of the lord’s palaces of the Bukhara Emirate. This fortress is surrounded by monuments and mausoleums of XVII-XVIII centuries. After introduction with the culture and history Hissar fortress returning back to Dushanbe. Transfer to airport and evening flight home.
