Located in the heart of Bukhara next to Lyabi Hovuz complex, family run Amelia boutique hotel provides its guests with comfortable accommodation and great service. Fully air conditioned and constructed in national style “Amelia Boutique Hotel” was Jewish merchant's house which was build in 19th century and located near Synagogue (Jewish temple). A beautiful wooden carved door is an entrance into this unique and extraordinary house. Pleasant accommodation and friendly staff ensure you will have a comfortable stay with a plenty to see and to do.

Owner is a dynamic young man with a customer oriented attitude - he takes care of guests. Position of the hotel is very near to the centre, just five minutes away, the entrance is in a hidden narrow off-side road, but near a main road; which combines some isolation with not being far away - you will never miss your way home and everything is within walking distance.

In general thus is a charming hotel, with extremely friendly and happy staff and management. The ground floor suite is decorated with red murals featuring pink elephants, but this isvery tastefully done. Also the breakfast/dining room is a delight all by itself.

Accommodation at Amelia Boutique Hotel
The house has 5 unique double rooms with king size beds. All rooms are decorated in traditional Bukharian style with national trimming and differ from another with its design. The rooms are immaculate, large, bright, quiet, clean and extremely well-appointed.The bathroom and room facilities are very modern and included a huge flat screen TV with international channels and fridge. Room is spacious and the room faces the inner court, so it is very quiet.

Dining at Amelia Boutique Hotel
Breakfast is varied and good and they serve it cheerfully.Breakfast room is just down stairs and absolutely charming - a real strong point to the hotel. Each piece in the hotel made by hand by well-known workers and painters from Uzbekistan. The house also has a traditional yard with beautifully carved tall columns and charming "ayvan", where during summer evenings Uzbek, Tajik, Russian or vegetarian cooking is arranged. You’ll be also in easy walking distance to restaurants. Near the hotel there is Minzifa restaurant and they have good food, but they are often overbooked. Bella Italia, in the opposite direction, also has good food.Go for a kebab at the small family run restaurant in the round building in front of the hotel.

Facilities of Amelia Boutique Hotel
The family-run owned and managed boutique hotel “Amelia” offers a combination of traditional Bukharian style and atmosphere, with modern conveniences and personal attentive care. The English-speaking staff is eager to help 24-hours a day. Staff is helpful, and they can obtain train or plane tickets for you. Wi-Fi is available but costs USD10 per day, so might be cheaper to use Internet kiosks. Sometimes Wi-Fi is very slow and you can have a problem with loadingeven standard webpages. There is an internet cafe about 5 minutes walk away which charges reasonable prices. They can give you helpful advice on catching a shared taxi. Try to avoid taking a taxi from directly outside the hotel – the drivers there make their living off unsuspecting tourists and tend to charge more than average local rates.
