Amulet hotel is located in a calm area of the historic center of Bukhara. It is actually occupies an old madrassah building that was nicely renovated and decorated. This hotel is located very close to the Lyabi House hotel. After long touring day one could enjoy a shady atmosphere at the hotel’s courtyardsip green tea and play a game of backgammon. The hotel is really very nice, authentic and cozy.

The rooms are clean and comfortable with aircondition, fridge and TV with English news channels. The rooms are decorated in a typical Uzbek style with traditional art and craft. Brick walls keep the room cool, even during the hottest days of summer. You can have only a few problems such - patchy electricity leading to flickering lights when the fridge or aircondition kicked into high gear; some noise on the road side of the building and maybe laundry service seem for you slightly expensive.

Breakfast is delicious and very copious, except usual meals you can also taste things like French toast and apple crepes. The atmosphere is excellent and the staff very helpful. They will always be ready to offer you a tea or to give you advice for your trip.The manager can also help you a lot with finding good places to eat. He also can explain you the history of the building, which used to be a madrassah. They also have a tea room which is very comfy, it will be better during warmer season when you can chill with a cup of tea in the courtyard. Hotel staff is very hospitable - they can organize a city tour and show you a cooking class of local pilaf right in the yard. The small features (like tea and snacks served in the inner yard or room with a local "fireplace" or small library with old books) make the stay unforgettable.
