Asia Bukhara hotel was opened in April 2006. This is an attractively looking hotel immediately adjacent to the old townof the city surrounded by the monuments from XII-XVI centuries. The location is amazing- right at the crossroads of the bazaars and the main well-known monuments of Bukhara are nearby within easy reach by walk. The entrance was built in the style of ancient "madrassah". There are wonderful shopping opportunities for local souvenirs but be ready to haggle.Street lighting not good, that’s why we recommend taking a torch for nighttime.

Breakfast in the hotel is average, standard Uzbek fare. There is wide choice: porridge, cereals, fresh breads and pastries, fresh yoghurt, "homemade" apple compote, selection of cheeses, meats etc for the breakfast.Food in the restaurant is not great but decent. The restaurant offers international and local food.In the small bar at the entrance you can order a good espresso.Cafes across the street by the lake are cheaper and the setting is more atmospheric than in the hotel.You can have good dinner at the Bella Italia restaurant which is in 10 minutes walk from the hotel - turn left out of the hotel.

There are 95 rooms. Rooms are nice and clean, smart interior and lovely grounds.The roomsare pleasant size, air conditioned, with TV satellite, phone and mini bar. The bathroom is clean with a hair dryer.The room is large, especially for a single traveler, with a sitting area with 2 chairs and table and also a dressing table, so plenty of surfaces to litter. Bed is hard, but big. Carpet is worn, but all seems clean.
