K.Komil is the hotel with exceptional character and is literally a work of art. Location of the hotel is perfect right near to Lyabi House hotel. K. Komil is a boutique hotel located in the old town of Bukhara, just a short walk away from one of the main trading domes. This hotel is extremely easy to find, despite the fact that it is not on a main street within the old city. No need to worry about remembering which side streets to turn onto while navigating from the trading dome. The walk from the trading dome to hotel isn't lit at night, but it's literally a straight shot. Some flashlight might be recommended for night times since the old city is just generally not well lit at night.

This is a lovely small hotel, a bit too large to be described as a B&B, within easy walking distance of all the main sights of Bukhara. The hotel has plenty of character, it is a traditional house built around a courtyard.It is small, cozy and extremely charming. Everything there is decorated in traditional Uzbek style so you feel like you traveled back in time.The owner is a young gentleman Komil who started his business from scratch and who maintains high standards of local tourists’ business right from the first day of the hotel's existence. People at the hotel are extremely friendly.

Every room is decorated by the owner in a unique style.The rooms are lovely and very clean. There is beautiful detail throughout the hotel. Bathroom in the room have a full bathtub, rather than just being a makeshift shower stall as in some other hotels.The rooms are compact but well set out, beautiful and comfortable, the beds are comfortable and there is fridge in the roomwith a stocked mini-bar.

Breakfast is definitely the best, large spread and delicious food, with a variety of fresh fruits, pancakes, home-made jams,bread, tea/coffee and an egg dish.Breakfast is served in a quite astonishing hall with lots of fine decoration on the walls and ghanch work and the meal alone can set you up for the day.The dining room which is located upstairs is 19 century with the original features.The staff is very good about giving recommendations for restaurants, shopping and just general directions around the old town.
