Reaching Tsalenjikha Cathedral is quite straightforward from Zugdidi. Simply head to the central market and inquire where to catch a marshrutka (minibus) to Tsalenjikha. Aim to start your journey early in the morning, around 8:30–9:00 AM, to make the most of your visit. Within 40 minutes, you’ll arrive in Tsalenjikha, where a pleasant 20-30 minute walk from the marshrutka stop will lead you straight to the cathedral. The path is easy to follow, and locals are always happy to guide you. Once there, you’ll see for yourself why these frescoes are often considered the most beautiful in all of Georgia.
