At the base of the mountain, you’ll encounter two routes leading to the Hazrat Daud Cave: a challenging ascent of 1,303 steps or a gentler path on horseback. To optimize your experience and conserve energy, you’ll ride horses or donkeys up the mountain.
Upon reaching the mosque and viewing platform at an elevation of 1,280 meters, you’ll be rewarded with panoramic vistas of the Samarkand valley. After soaking in the spectacular views, you’ll descend 200 steps to the entrance of Hazrat Daud Cave.
