The Khoja Abdulaziz Madrasa, known in Uzbek as Abdulazizxo’ja Madrasasi, is a significant architectural monument located in Karshi. Constructed in 1909 during the reign of Uzbek ruler Abdulahad Khan (1885-1910), the madrasa served as an important educational institution in the early 20th century. Students from various cities within the Bukhara Emirate traveled to Karshi to study at the Khoja Abdulaziz Madrasa, indicating its prominence as a center of learning.
In addition to its educational role, the madrasa has served different functions over the years. From 1975 to 2007, the building housed the Kashkadarya Regional Museum of Local Lore.
