The Khanaka-Mausoleum Kokildor-Ota is renowned for its distinctive architectural style and unique layout. This structure features a portal with a domed roof and a façade constructed from brick, which sets it apart from other historical buildings in the region. The design of the building reflects a recurring architectural theme seen in other significant structures, such as the Sultan-Saodat complex, particularly in its three-tiered frontal, open façade.
The layout of the Kokildor-Ota Khanaka is characterized by symmetry and careful planning. At the heart of the design is a deep terrace that leads to the main entrance, which opens into a grand central hall topped with a dome. Flanking this central space are two rooms arranged in a mirror-image pattern, positioned almost parallel to each other across a corridor. This arrangement creates a rectangular entrance that connects to the central hall, while the side entrances lead to adjoining rooms and corridors.
