I’ll be visiting Georgia for two weeks in late September. Planning to spend time in Tbilisi, so some hiking in the mountains. I need travel insurance but I don’t want to overpay.
has anyone recently bought insurance for a trip to Georgia? Do you prefer international companies or local ones? Any advice or personal experience would be really helpful!

It depends on what activities you plan to do. For simple city trips international ones are fine, but if you are going hiking, better to compare options carefully.
Fully agree with the local option. Georgian Insurance worked great for me. It was cheap, the policy was clear and I had no worries during my stay. Good quality for the price. Highly recommended
