About the fountains in Tashkent City Park: yesterday we caught the shows at 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM—they play three songs each time. At 9:00 PM there’s a fountain show with fireworks, which is really impressive!! And afterward, you can still wait for another fountain show at 9:30 PM). The little bridge in the park has been decorated with flower arches and teddy bears—everyone is taking photos there). Inside the mall, on the ground floor, there’s a large Galmart supermarket. The fountains with fireworks will be running today as well.
Gafur Gulyam Park is located right next to Mirzo Ulugbek Metro Station. There are plenty of attractions for children and a couple for adults too—a Ferris wheel, a gondola ride, and some kind of pedal boats. The prices for the rides are inexpensive. There are two ponds with swans. The park itself is not very big, but really pleasant))
We also visited three parks today—Central Park, Ecopark Bobur, and Ashgabat Park—all within walking distance of each other. We started with Central Park (Hamid Olimjon Metro Station), and it was absolutely amazing because of the fish! You can watch them endlessly, like fire or water 😆. There are also many attractions (you need to buy a card for 10,000 sums and top it up, then use it to pay for rides; one card can be shared by several people). The park is very green, with lots of shade, benches, and plenty of snacks—overall, a really great place!
We also went to the Center of Islamic Civilization; right next to it is the Hazrati Imam Complex—both within walking distance from Gafur Gulyam Metro Station. The show takes place in a fenced-off square. The lights were switched on at 7:30 PM, and the show itself started at 7:50 PM—absolutely breathtaking!! ❤️ It’s similar to the one at Registan, but here you watch it from much closer, so it feels even more grandious. The only downside is that it’s hard to understand what’s being said)) They mentioned that the show runs every day.
Today we visited Magic Safari 🐐🦙🐪 (walk-in entrance is 75 for adults, 50 for children, there are also bus tickets and an unlimited pass for 299), it’s veeeery интересно designed, and when we arrived at 12 we even caught an African show at the entrance) it seems like the park is still in the process of being completed, something is still under construction. There aren’t many animals, but the unique thing is the chance to feed, for example, a giraffe or a camel and get tons of эмоций🐫🦒😍 Feed is sold for 25,000 — that’s a cup of carrots or lettuce, you’re not allowed to feed them your own food, but we didn’t know that and I cut up carrots and brought them with me, they asked to open bags at the entrance, but mine was at the bottom and they didn’t see it, so we didn’t have to splurge on carrots 😊 we did 2 rounds, it took us 2 hours (while in a regular zoo we once spent 4 hours)) yes, there are also paid zones — lemurs, birds, and something else too
