Behind the railway station there is a bus station with the same name (on the other side of the tracks). Minibuses leave from there:
Yerevan – Kapan
Yerevan – Sisian
Yerevan – Goris
And although I haven't seen it personally, there are probably Yerevan – Meghri services as well.
The catch is that you usually can't just show up and get on these minibuses, regardless of the destination. You need to know the dispatcher's phone number (it's different for each route) and book your trip in advance.
I can't give you the number. You'll need to go to the Sasuntsi Davit bus station and try to find out the schedule and the dispatcher's contact number.
There are ticket booths there — just ask around, and people nearby will point you in the right direction.

I personally traveled on the Yerevan–Goris route. I arrived in the morning without a reservation, and there were no seats left.
But the dispatcher kindly offered us stools, and my spouse and I spent 4.5 hours sitting on stools in the aisle on our way to our destination ))) That's how I learned through firsthand experience how the minibus system works on routes in the south of the country.
