The perimeter is 300 km, so you need more criteria than just “better.” And yes, it’s either taxi or a tour with a guide.
Buses and shared cars leave from Yeritasardakan Metro Station for 600 drams to Sevan, and from there you can call a taxi for about 700 drams to the lake itself.
Could you please tell me what would be considered a reasonable price for a trip outside the city to Lake Sevan / the monasteries? Just roughly, so I know what to expect. Thank you.
