Good evening, please tell me — we’re planning to go to Svaneti in early June. And we’d like to go up to the Cross viewpoint there. Could you advise where to look for drivers in Mestia who take people to hard-to-reach places? 
Maybe there are websites, or is it easy to find such people locally? Do we need to book the trip in advance?
All the drivers stand right in the city center, you won’t miss them. You can also walk up to the Cross, by the way — it’s not a hard-to-reach place.

About an hour and a half to two hours one way, depending on how fast you can walk uphill. No experience is needed there, just decent physical shape. There are signs too. If you’re afraid of getting lost, you can check the route in advance, although it’s hard to get lost there. The places are beautiful — it’s much more interesting to walk than to go by car.
