Good afternoon! Is it possible to visit Bozzhyra and Tiramisu independently? In your own vehicle?
At Bozzhyra, you can only reach the upper viewpoint. As for Tiramisu, you can drive right into the gorge.
It's better to stay overnight at Bozzhyra because driving 700 km there and back in a single day is, frankly, a questionable kind of pleasure. Besides, you won't really see a damn thing. It's a place that needs to be contemplated and taken in slowly.
If spending the night there is a problem, then I'd recommend going to Zhygylgan instead of Bozzhyra.
And Bozzhyra at night is a special experience in its own right.
Bozzhyra in summer?! 😳🫠
The heat in the steppe during summer is incredibly intense! In my opinion, that's pretty extreme.
Well, maybe if you're staying overnight... and even then, I'm not so sure.
Don't scare people for no reason.
I go there in summer, winter, autumn, and spring, and stay for 2–3 days at a time without any problems.
Last summer, for example, we spent four days out in the steppe. We drove from the Shars (Round Stones) to Bozzhyra and back to Aktau. Nobody died. Everyone except the client slept on the ground under the open sky. Just throw down a sleeping mat on the ground and enjoy life.
