In June, I’m planning a trip across Kazakhstan and will be spending 3-4 days in Shymkent.
I’d like to know the most budget-friendly ways to visit two local attractions:
Are there tour agencies that organize trips to these places? Is public transport an option? Could I arrange a ride with local taxi drivers, including private ones ("bombilas")? How much would they charge?

Typically, people travel to these spots by private car or taxi. However, that’s more suitable for locals. For tourists and visitors, the best option is to go through a tour company.
Taxi drivers in Shymkent will take you anywhere you’re willing to pay for—no problem there.
That said, it’s much better to find a tour agency via Instagram using relevant hashtags. They’ll take you on a comfortable bus. These destinations are popular, and every weekend there are groups of visitors heading there, almost like a pilgrimage.
