Could you please tell me:
Is it possible to drive in with your own car to the Cosmostation and then continue to BAP?
It’s a national park.
Driving around by car is prohibited!
And how can you get to BAP then?
No way with your own car. And you shouldn’t go alone either. Contact large hiking groups, some of them have permission to drive up to the Cosmostation. From there they continue on foot to BAP.
You drive up to the barrier above the Ayusai (Edelweiss) visitor center and then hike on foot through BAO, or you can drive to the parking area in the Prokhodnoye Gorge and hike from there, but that adds a few hundred extra meters of elevation gain.
The most interesting route is Edelweiss — BAO — Cosmostation — BAP — Terra Glade — Prokhodnoye. But there will be around 2500 m of elevation gain and about 24 km of hiking. Be sure to carry your documents with you, it’s a border zone and they may check them.
