Hi everyone! Could anyone please tell me if there are any good options to get to Almaty by comfortable bus or marshrutka from Bishkek? 
Buses to Almaty depart from the Alma-Atinskaya bus station (1/1) five times a day: at 8:00, 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, and 18:00. Tickets can be purchased on the tezket kg website, and the fare is 600 som.
As for marshrutkas, people usually take a bus or taxi to the Ak-Jol border checkpoint, cross the border on foot at Korday (Kazakhstan), and then catch a taxi or marshrutka to Almaty from there. It usually turns out to be faster than going by bus.
Thank you so much for the detailed reply! I actually arrived on that exact bus, but it’s not the most comfortable or fastest option Do you happen to know if the marshrutkas from Korday are any good?
