Please tell me, is there any bus running from Bishkek Airport to the railway/bus station in the city (as far as I understand, marshrutkas to Issyk-Kul leave from the Eastern bus station)? And is there a timetable available somewhere? Or would a taxi be more выгодней (cost-effective)?
There is no direct transport from the airport to the Eastern bus station. City bus 153 runs from the airport every 15 minutes. From there you need to transfer to bus 43 to reach the bus station. That’s the cheapest option; by taxi it’s faster but more expensive.
