But officially they only start selling 60 days in advance, i.e., 2 months! We started monitoring about 50 days before and there was already nothing available. Do they really sell out literally in the first few days after sales open?

Of course not, when I traveled half of the seats were empty. Tickets are available at the ticket offices (from resellers), but not guaranteed. Just like for concerts. I bought mine 50 days in advance and got them without any trouble

And also please note, we’re talking about the month of MARCH, i.e., there is still more than a month left before the trips.

There are no Afrosiyob tickets even for April already, and you’re talking about March 😂. Yesterday I saw some, but literally 1–2 tickets (maybe they were left over, maybe someone returned them), but we need 4) so in the end we took the “Sharq”.

Classic. You have to check on the exact day (50 days before departure).

Three days ago I bought tickets for March 31 and April 3, правда on Sharq, there were about 185 tickets available.

We have an aggravating circumstance — at least 2 of the trips are planned on the days of the Navruz celebrations 🙁

Why is everyone ignoring the Sharq train? The difference in travel time is 25–30 minutes, and the price is half that of Afrosiyob.
