Hello! I'm traveling to Uzbekistan in March.
I really want to buy a women's chapan and some fabrics—adras and ikat.
I’ll be visiting Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, and possibly Khiva.
Also, I need a large size.
Where should I look for these items? And how much do they cost?

These days, there’s almost nothing natural left in Uzbekistan—most of it is made in China.
You can check the area around the Chorsu Bazaar—there are several shops there.
If you know what to look for, you might still find fabrics—if they’re even available anymore.
I can’t say how much they cost, though—it’s been a long time since I bought any.

Fabrics are always sold alongside chapans. Size won’t be an issue—they’re available in all cities.
There’s a wide variety of chapans, and prices can range anywhere from $10 to $500, depending on the type.
