I am thinking of going to Uzbekistan in April. I have seen https://eurasia.travel/fr/uzbekistan/bukhara/puppet-workshop-museum/ that there is a puppet museum in Bukhara and I would like to have an idea of the approximate price of the papier-mâché puppets as I understand that this museum also sells them to individuals.
Thank you very much for your reply.
Dear Laure,
This Puppet Museum is a truly charming little place worth visiting. The museum showcases the fascinating process of creating puppets from papier-mâché, and the owner himself conducts a brief (15-minute) tour, demonstrating the puppets and sharing their rich history.
Most of the puppets are available for purchase, and they all have wonderfully expressive faces! Admission to the museum is free, as it primarily generates revenue through puppet sales. Demonstrations are conducted in English. Prices for the puppets typically range around €30 each, or €50 for a pair.
