Many travelers, including citizens of all EU and CIS countries, do not require a visa for short-term visits to Kazakhstan. For citizens of most other nations, a single-entry electronic tourist visa (e-visa) is available.

To obtain an e-visa, you must first secure a valid letter of invitation from a travel agency or other authorized entity in Kazakhstan. The authorized party will need to gain approval from Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs before issuing the letter of invitation.
